Remote simultaneous interpreting
Purpose-built RSI for hybrid and virtual events, plus native support for the interpreter consoles in Zoom and Microsoft Teams, where most real meetings actually happen.
There are two remote markets and they need different answers. One is the multilingual conference streamed to several countries, which wants a purpose-built platform with proper relay, handover and audio engineering. The other — far larger and much less glamorous — is 'we are running this on Teams next Tuesday, can you supply two Arabic interpreters'. We serve both, and we do not pretend the second is beneath us.
Audio quality decides remote interpreting far more than platform choice does. We supply our regular interpreters with standardised headsets and interfaces, and we will tell you before the event if your speaker setup is going to make the interpretation worse than it needs to be. That conversation is unwelcome in the moment and much better than the alternative.
